Cake Ventures is a thesis-driven seed fund that invests in companies whose growth lies at the intersection of demographic change and technology.
We invest across sectors in companies that accelerate based on major demographic changes including: aging and longevity, the increased spending power of women, the shift to majority-minority, the rise of deskless work, and more. We invest $250-500K into pre-seed companies and $500-750K into classic seed or seed+ companies.
Monique Woodard is the Founding Partner at Cake Ventures where she invests in companies building technology that meets the needs of tomorrow’s internet users. Monique has invested in global startup ecosystems in the U.S. and internationally since 2016. Before founding Cake Ventures, Monique was an investor at 500 Startups, scout at Lightspeed Venture Partners, and trusted advisor to foundations and firms like SoftBank.
